Adding Text

1. On the left hand side of the screen, click the big plus sign or the "add" button.

2. Once you click the plus sign button, many options pop up. Text is the first option. Hover over the word "text" and various styles appear. Select whatever one suits your fancy.  

3. When you select your text box style, simply click "Edit Text" above the box. You can copy and paste text into the box or type it. 

To adjust the size of the box, click on the dots on the left or ride side of the box. Wix will automatically make the box longer or shorter when you add/delete text. 

4. You have probably noticed the "Text Settings" box that comes up. In this picture, it is on the right hand side of the screen. Use this box to adjust font, size, style, alignment, and color.

 

Highlight the text you are wanting to make design changes to. 

5. In order to move the text box on the page, you must first click outside of the text box to "de-select" it. Next, hover over the box and a black cursor should appear. Click and drag to where you want the text box.
